ABOUT

Eric McCabe and is not only a Professional Disc Golf World Champion, but is also a World Class Course Designer. He has designed dozens of courses across the United States, some of which have been utilized in the 2013 PDGA Amateur World Championships, the 2016 & 2022 PDGA Professional World Championships, and as annual Elite Series stops on the Disc Golf Pro Tour. Eric has completed the design for Ledgewood Pass, creating a challenging but fair layout that emphasizes the unique character of the land. The flow of the holes will take the player on a scenic walk to see all of the various features this wooded parcel has to offer. A "pass," geographically speaking, refers to difficult to traverse terrain. The name of the course lends itself to that challenge. The giant boulders scattered throughout the land were deposited by glaciers long ago, and the player will run into these throughout a wooded course that demands all shot shapes.

Meet the Owners

Ethan Roubo (right) & Ted St. Amand (Left)

Ethan Roubo

A graduate from Thornton Academy in Saco & Bentley University in Massachusetts, Ethan was introduced to the sport of disc golf in 2019 and hasn't turned back since. After developing a passion for playing, competing and watching the professional game, he knew he had to be involved in the explosion in popularity of disc golf. He left his job as a sales executive in the sports seating manufacturing industry to oversee the development of this course and will run the day to day operations once it is up and running.

Ted St. Amand

Also a Thornton Academy graduate, locals in the area will know Ted as he has lived in Arundel for nearly his whole life and has been a mainstay in the community. He owned Atlantic Pest Solutions based out of Arundel for 28 years, and is now the owner of Superior Pest Service also in Arundel. His name and his companies have been synonymous with the highest level of customer service, and that is what he hopes to bring to Ledgewood Pass.
